So I still haven't posted pictures...I'm slow...and have misplaced the digi...

But its October and I am wearing sweaters and socks I mean what the hell....I normally can wait til January to wear these things but they were pulled out of the closet a little early this year...Not cold enough though to wear scarves...damnit.

I am still working on my sweater and am about 4" in on the k2p2 rib on the neckline....its been a very boring knit...but its pretty

I took Dad to the dentist yesterday b/c he has a horrible fear on dentists since his childhood one wreaked havoc on his mouth. Then we went browsing for home things and ate at Giorgios...then I went to work...after Pat...who I despise...This woman needs to be put in a nursing home she's so old and she always wants me to drive down her car but it smells so much on cig smoke I can't breathe in there even with the windows down..ugggh I can guarantee that Laura hates her more than me though hahaaha

I installed some doorknobs today and will be mostly likely painting this weekend since I do not have to work.

Well this weekend bites...I worked today from 1 til 9 tomorrow all day but I'm taking a break midday-ish for something important and Sat 1-9 and Sunday all day. What do I get for this?? A great payday on Monday and next weekend off..yes fully off....I don't know what I will do with myself.

I did change my number this week and am overjoyed that I do not have to cringe when my tele rings...and that fewer than 10 people have my number....its bliss!!

In knitting news...I finished the back of the sweater and up to the armpit/sleeve hole of the front. I will mostly likely finish that in the first hour of work tomorrow. I selvaged stitched both sides so it should be a breeze to sew up. I glanced ahead at the pattern which has a shawl/cowl neckline and in my dismay or stupidity for not reading the pattern before deciding to make it I have to pick up 194 damn stitches on the neckline!! I mean is that possible. Ughhh but I am looking forward to making another sweater...like Debbie Bliss' Katy from her Cotton Angora book but in wool of course like almost everything I make.

I've been tagged so here's 5 weird facts about me

1- I have a teeth fetish if you could call it that. They are the first things I notice and if they look nasty or missing it really grosses me out.

2-I am a salesperson's dream shopper. If there's some kind of promo or something new just tell me about it & I will mostly likely buy it --in bulk.

3-I have an extreme fear of birds of any kind. I used to get chased by ducks at Lake Mayer as a child and get really freaked out by them.

4-My parents raised me to be a child prodigy. I could read at three and a half and read seventh grade reading level at 5. I have retained all these random facts from all the reading I did.

5-I learned Spanish before I learned English. I spent alot of time as a child with my Cuban grandparents. I can only speak a little now but can understand alot. 

Wow..Its really weird when people see me knitting at work and ask that stupid question like 'Are you knitting?' like its some taboo or someone like me isn't normally viewed as the knitting type...

Well I have been formulating a Xmas list for me and one of things that I am going to buy Hill and Dad and a couple of knick knacks for Law and Mom...I don't see them all the time and I'm not going to waste money on them.

I have a couple of things on the needles at the moment...teal socks for Hill and a gorgeous sweater for me in Nature's Wool a deep red...I was uncertain of the tonal shading Mickey told me about but it looks awesome...I'll post pics sometime tomorrow.
